Emy Rumble-Mettle
Works with leaders and founders in understanding existing business performance, unlocking potential and enhancing performance for both commercial and personal gain.
Background
With 25 years plus of commercial experience of leading organisations through hyper growth, change and transformation. Emy started her career in advertising and moved into search and talent thereafter, leading the Global Talent, Succession and DEI Agenda for businesses such as GroupM (WPP), Flutter Entertainment and ASOS PLC.
Her work centres around high potential individuals that drive change across organisations as well as board level senior leaders that are keen to adapt their style to ensure they are future proof for the changing economy we are facing in the current landscape.
She uncovers the links between the natural personas in everyday life and how we show up authentically in the workplace when faced with complex challenges. In short ensuring there is joy and success in equal measure in the lives of those she works with. Happy leaders result in happy workforces and her whole modus operandi is aimed at ensuring those she works with seek out the deepest joy and the greatest challenges whilst delivering on their business remits. The bi-product of this approach super charges those who report into the people she coaches – it is about cascading the learnings and actively seeing impact.
Emy has worked with multi disciplined companies from advertising and gaming through to sustainable companies driving change within the energy networks. Many would describe her as warm as toast and strong to challenge and be challenged in equal measure.
The last two decades have resulted in Emy coaching C Suite/Leadership individuals across the EMEA Markets and the US – namely companies that are in hyper growth or hyper challenging situations where revenue generation is challenged and/or behavioural shifts are vital. She deploys multiple models to help people understand how their own brain works in their existing behaviour patterns and how to disrupt the neural pathways that have created habits that may not serve their ambitions for the future. Her approach is hinged on Agile working practices and that of an “open strategy”. People normally know the challenges –her remit is to create environments where challenges are addressed, re-imagined activated and reviewed regularly.
Style
Emy is warm yet direct: Equal parts high support and high challenge. Inquisitive and eager to understand people’s motivations. She is pacey, impactful and has the knack of summarising the challenges to unleash the freedom of options available to individuals/organisations so that they are growing and delivering on their ambitions.

“Emy is one of the most impressive people I have had the good fortune to work with in my career. Highly intelligent, incredibly well connected and delivers. Every time! It’s a rare thing for people to talk the talk but also follow through with great work. That makes her a standout talent professional. But above all she has a big heart. She genuinely cares about people and will do anything to make a place better than when she started.”
“I have had the great pleasure of working with Emy in a range of different ways. She provided me with knowledge and support when she was under contract at We Are Very Social. Her knowledge, her willingness to share it and her passion for people was refreshing. During those weeks any concerns I had about a consultant reviewing my work disappeared and a want to be better and ‘be more Emy’ developed. I used Emy for her training expertise as we used her skills to unpick team dynamics and consider how we can be better and more inclusive humans.
Most recently I have used her as my executive coach – simply the best thing I have ever done. She found me again, she was a truth sayer and a sponsor for what I wanted from my career and my life. Since I started coaching, I have started to change those behaviours that were destructive to me. I now know what they are and I assess the behaviour before I fall into it! More than that, she has given me my confidence to be just the way I am and my authentic self. I am a warrior and less of a worrier than I was, and I am feeling fearless as I continue my learning journey with her ongoing support. Put simply, a wonderful human. Every company or person that wants to be progressive and welcomes disruption for good needs to speak to Emy.”
