“Impact & Influence” work in action in the MBA curriculum.

30 September 2025

Following a successful pilot, Ground+Air is contributing to Bayes Business School’s 2025/2026 MBA programme.

We will work with the full-time and part-time MBA communities, delivering a series of workshops entitled: “Building Commercial & Sales Acumen” and “Developing Stakeholder Management Skills.”

These will take place in-person at Bayes’ East London Campus, with overseas students able to dial in and access online resources.

Bayes wants to deploy a “scientific approach, grounded in psychology and solid business practice” – one that accounts for the distinctly human interaction that occurs when leaders connect successfully with customers and stakeholders – and that ensures students build strategies and tactics that support enduring relationships and optimal results.

Leadership development specialist, Sara Barker, has designed and will deliver the workshops, helping build the commercial confidence and strategic communication capabilities that leaders need to influence internal and external stakeholders, front commercial discussions, and articulate value in any context.

Areas covered will include: Exploring the psychology behind effective influence and value-led conversations; Learning a consultative questioning framework used by top-performing commercial leaders; Crafting and communicating a personal or business value proposition effectively.

This type of work is principally located within the “Impact & Influence” component of Ground+Air’s Flow Performance Framework, whilst also drawing from the work our team does around in the realm of “Mental & Emotional Skills”.
